- Ask someone to return any hired or borrowed items.
- If you
provided disposable cameras at your wedding, arrange for someone to
collect them at the end of the day and have them processed.
- Arrange for wedding cake to be sent to those who did not attend the
wedding. (Cake should also be sent to those who did not attend but who
gave you a wedding gift.)
- Send details of the wedding to local newspapers.

If off on honeymoon, ask a close friend or relative to keep an eye on
your home, removing items from the letterbox and maybe watering your
plants. They might even stock your fridge for your return!
Traditionally the groom carries his new bride over the threshold so they will be rewarded with plenty of good fortune.
